Having creative paleo snacks on hand all the time is essential for me, because most of the time I can’t seem to go three hours without getting hungry!
When you can’t eat gluten or a lot of carbs, coming up with ideas for creative paleo snacks can be challenging. I eat a lot of nuts and nut butter for paleo snacks, and recently I started eating a lot of smoothies (here’s the recipe for my favorite!). But honestly, smoothies and nuts get old.
I’ve been needing some new ideas for creative paleo snacks, and that’s what inspired this post! I set out to find the most delicious looking protein-packed paleo snacks with healthy fats to help keep us full and nourished.
Many of these creative paleo snack recipes would also make excellent appetizers!
Here are my favorite 13 creative paleo snacks to change things up – all are gluten-free, grain-free, and refined sugar-free, and many are vegan, too!
Apple Tuna Bites

If you’re looking for paleo-compliant mayo, you can buy Primal Kitchen mayo made with avocado oil in a lot of health food stores like Whole Foods. Or, you can easily make your own paleo mayonnaise with just a few ingredients!
Ingredients: tuna, Greek yogurt or mayo, red onion, celery, lemon juice, apple, salt and pepper.
Guacamole Deviled Eggs

Crock Pot Chunky Monkey Paleo Trail Mix
