4 Ways to Get Ridiculously Cheap Flight Deals Sent Straight to Your Inbox

These four cheap flight email lists will send you the very best deals on travel straight to your inbox!

If you’ve been around our blog, you may have already seen us talk about our recent purchase of $200 round trip flights to Europe! – an absolutely ridiculously cheap trip.

We got those flights without using credit card points or airline miles (the usual ways). We simply knew how to get in the know so that the best flight deals would be sent directly to our inbox. When the 50% off promotion came up, we jumped on the opportunity!

As budget travelers, Ryan and I are subscribed to four different cheap flight email lists that send us amazingly cheap deals and sales on flights, as soon as they become available. One sends us a specific airline’s deals, and the other three are constantly scouring the web for the best deals and send them to their subscribers.

If you want to travel more and would like to spend as little as possible, I highly recommend subscribing to these four cheap flight email lists!

1. Join the Wow Air Club.

Wow Air is a budget Icelandic airline that flies out of several US cities and a couple of Canadian cities to many destinations in Europe. Their prices are low, and periodically they have flash sales where you can have an additional 30-50% off those already low prices!

Last year I flew with them from Los Angeles to Amsterdam for $325 round trip, because of a 40% off promo they were running. This year Ryan and I both flew with them from Chicago to Amsterdam for just $200 round trip, because of a 50% off promo! Those prices are extremely rare and difficult to find anywhere else.

The best way for you to stay informed about Wow Air’s best prices and promotional deals, is to sign up for their email newsletter. They do not send out emails very often, and when they do they’re usually about extremely low prices, so pay attention!

Head over to their Wow Club signup on their site to subscribe.

Additionally, check out our post, Everything You Need to Know Before Booking with Wow Air for all the details on what you should know and expect before booking your flights with Wow Air.

2. Subscribe to Scott’s Cheap Flights.

There’s this guy named Scott. And he spends all day every day searching for cheap international flights. And he finds them! Crazy cheap flights.

Sometimes airlines make mistakes, and Scott finds these way cheaper than normal “error fares,” then shares them with his email subscribers. He also stays on top of sales airlines are running and tells you about those too.

On average, we get an email from Scott’s Cheap Flights probably about once a day. His emails include the destinations and origins available for the deal, the airline(s) running the deal, how long he thinks the deal will be available, when you have to fly to get the deal, and the lowest price he found from each origin city. Plus, he gives plenty of tips on how to find the deals yourself.

You can read more about it and sign up to receive Scott’s Cheap Flights emails on his website.

3. Subscribe to the TravelPirates newsletter.

TravelPirates is somewhat like Scott’s Cheap flights in that they’re finding the best deals on flights and sending them to your inbox. However, TravelPirates takes it a step further.

Sometimes the deals TravelPirates shares are just for flight deals, whether within the US or abroad. But oftentimes, TravelPirates includes incredibly cheap deals on accommodations – hotels, hostels, resorts, and Airbnbs.

Also, TravelPirates makes their deals easier to find. They have their own search engine tool, kind of like Kayak or Momondo. All you have to do is click the origin city you want to fly from and it will show you when that low price is available, giving you the option to book straight from their site.

On average, TravelPirates sends an email with a list of current deals every three days or so. One more thing I love about their emails is that they include gorgeous photos of the destinations they have deals for.

You can subscribe to the TravelPirates cheap flight email list on their website.

4. Receive personalized cheap flight alerts from Airfarewatchdog.

If you want to be notified of the best deals on flights for travel from your local airport to a specific destination, Airfarewatchdog is an amazing resource!

For example, I have Airfarewatchdog currently emailing me any time there is a good deal on flights from Chicago, Detroit, or Cleveland (the three big airports nearest me) to San Francisco or Amsterdam (two places I would like to visit when I can get a good deal).

I get emails from Airfarewatchdog’s cheap flight email list about once a day with the best deal currently running on the flights I’ve said I’m interested in. That way as soon as prices drop or an airline is running a special deal, I know about it right away!

The nicest thing about Airfarewatchdog that sets it apart is that you only get alerts about the specific origins and destinations you are interested in and sign up for!

Set up your personalized airfare alerts on Airfarewatchdog’s website.

Hi Cassandra

It’s really amazing the savings you can get from some of these newsletters.
I’ve been using a new service lately that I really like called Wings Flight Club (https://wingsflightclub.com). It’s similar to SCF, but you get access to way more deals. My wife and I recently booked tickets to Rome for $270 round trip, nonstop with it. You should check it out if you haven’t already.

I hadn’t heard of Wings Flight Club – it looks awesome! Thanks so much for telling us about it. The more cheap flight options, the better.
