As much as I love giving and receiving gifts at Christmas each year, my enthusiasm is often lacking when it comes to gift wrapping, so going with minimalist gift wrapping is ideal.
I’m honestly usually in a hurry and wrapping last minute. So, I end up just using whatever scraps my mom has left over to wrap my gifts. (Super lame of me.)
In the past couple of years I’ve begun to have aspirations of wrapping my gifts in a way that is more authentic to me and actually looks like it’s from me, if you know what I mean.
As I’ve been pinning holiday content on Pinterest this year, I’ve come across many photos of simply yet tastefully wrapped gifts that I absolutely love! I’m kind of a wannabe minimalist, so I love simple styles of wrapping.
I’ve brought together 7 of my favorite minimalistic gift wrapping ideas in this post!
Under each photo I’ve listed links to Amazon products that are as similar as I could find to the wrapping supplies pictured. That way if you see a wrapping style you want to try, you can easily click through and order the supplies you need.
Just a heads up: This post contains Amazon affiliate links. That means if you click a link and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no cost to you. As always, all opinions are entirely our own. Thanks for supporting us!

I love this DIY minimalist gift wrapping paper idea! All you need is packing paper and watercolors. Maybe you already have packing paper some on hand that you can repurpose! Just be sure to paint the paper at least a day in advance so it has time to dry before wrapping.

From These Four Walls
With different varieties of white and brown wrapping paper, tags, and string, you can create all kinds of minimalistic combinations. I love the added greenery! You can either get outside and gather the greenery yourself, or ask someone who sells Christmas trees for some scraps.

From The Essence of Simple
This really is the simplest minimalist gift wrapping idea that I found, and I love the natural look of it. I found a similar muslin cloth (linked below) that you can cut to size and wrap around the gift. Tie it up with twine and you’re finished.
