My favorite way to celebrate Valentine’s Day (and most any holiday) is by using it as an excuse to try new recipes and enjoy special food together!

Ryan and I aren’t very sentimental about Valentine’s Day. We’re big on birthdays and Christmas, but Valentine’s Day tends to sneak up on us. My birthday is only two weeks before Valentine’s Day, so that’s probably part of it.

Even if we aren’t going out or buying extravagant gifts for each other, though, I love to use any and every special occasion as a reason to cook up a big meal and make a special dessert!

There are so many Valentine’s Day desserts that are really unique and creative! I love the pink and red theme Valentine’s Day desserts follow, and that many of them include chocolate too. If you’re a paleo, gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegan eater, I’ve gone to the trouble of finding the best for you!

Here are 10 of the absolute best, prettiest, paleo and vegan Valentine’s Day desserts!

All these Valentine’s day desserts are paleo AND vegan, which means they’re also perfect for a lot of other food allergies – they’re gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and egg-free as well. Enjoy!
