15 Smoothie Bowl Recipes to Transform Your Breakfast

These paleo & vegan smoothie bowl recipes make for a perfect snack or breakfast, packed with nutrition and superfoods!

I grew up eating A LOT of cereal – and Reese’s Puffs and Cinnamon Toast Crunch were totally viable options at our house!

Eating cereal for two meals a day was not an unusual occurrence for me. I graduated on to Chex and Special K later in life, but when my carbohydrate intolerance hit, cereal wasn’t a great option anymore.

We all know that eggs are a great, healthy alternative. But truth be told, I’m partial to eating my breakfast with a spoon. That might sound silly, but breakfasts are sentimental for me! I like slow mornings, so with that means eating something that’s not gone in five bites. (Followed by coffee or tea, of course).

Enter: paleo and vegan smoothie bowls.

Smoothie bowls are awesome for breakfast, a snack, or another meal, because you can pack all kinds of nutrients, protein, and healthy fats in them, and they can be different every time! The best part is you can load them up with toppings like an ice cream sundae (almost).

Here are 15 gorgeous and nourishing paleo & vegan smoothie bowl recipes you can make or alter to your heart’s content!

(Plus I included one of every color, just because it’s fun and they’re pretty.) If you want to learn how to make a smoothie bowl with ingredients you already have on hand, I’ve written about that too!

FYI: Every smoothie bowl in this list is gluten-free and can easily be made paleo or vegan!
